Join us on June 4–6, 2013 for an e-forum titled “Size matters: The impact of sexual networks on young people’s sexual and reproductive health.” The forum is hosted by FHI 360, on behalf of USAID’s Interagency Youth Working Group. Moderated by experts from USAID, FHI 360, loveLife, and the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health, this forum will give participants an opportunity to discuss multiple and concurrent sexual partnerships among young people, the influence of social norms and gender on decisions to be in multiple partnerships, and the associated sexual and reproductive health consequences. We will also address strategies young people can adapt to avoid multiple and concurrent sexual partnerships.

Sense.info is dé website voor jongeren tussen 12 en 25 jaar met vragen over liefde, seks en relaties. Deze werd onlangs uitgebreid met informatie voor lesbische, homo-, en biseksuele jongeren. Nu is er ook nieuwe informatie voor jongeren die transgender zijn of daarover vragen hebben.

Rutgers WPF initiated Y-SAV, “a European project to address youth sexual aggression and victimization in Europe”. The project builds a multidisciplinary network of European experts in various member states, brings together the knowledge on youth sexual aggression and victimization in a state-of-the-art database, develops a more harmonised way of measuring Y-SAV’s prevalence, and provides recommendations for strategic action to address the problem of youth sexual aggression under different circumstances in different EU member states.

The planning and support tool provides an overview of characteristics of effective, rights based SRHR educuation/HIV prevention interventions for young people. Organisations can analyse their intervention or use the tool to plan new interventions. The tool has been developed by Rutgers WPF and Stop AIDS Now!
